With kids of our own, the immediate focus of this program is the educate our educators on response actions we live by, day by day. We are husbands and wives, we are fathers and mothers, we are dependents, we are battle buddies, we are wingman, we are shipmates, but we are Patriots. We have to start thinking as a community and work together for a greater good. For years the military has mandated every member to complete annual training on Self Aid and Buddy care in the case of a active shooter or a disaster scenario, the importance of this concept has peaked now more than ever in our society. Most medics have a motto of '1 life lost is too many and one life saved is worth the struggle.' We embrace this motto and encourage the distribution of this thought process through our training. After hearing the prayers of my 5 year old for the families of those lives lost in Vegas, something had to be done. Our actions have saved lives on the battlefield and we want to encourage the knowledge to do it here on our own land in our schools, our places of business and in our homes.
